Build of material:

Princeton Brass products are mostly made of solid brass with premium finish. You will find most of our twin-handle faucets come as Washerless or Ceramic Disc cartridge with quarter turn valves. Washerless cartridge are made of plastic with a metal base and a brass stem. This mechanism uses a spring and rubber seat under the cartridge that functions as a plug when you turn on or off the faucet. Ceramic Disc cartridge on the other hand, are more dedicatedly constructed and built to last. Most Ceramic Disc cartridge come in brass material with built-in solid hard ceramic disc plates that functions as a water gate when you turn of or off the faucet. Due to the quality and cost between the two cartridges, you will find faucet that uses Ceramic Disc cartridge is signifficantly higher in price than its counter part, however, provide a more valuable return in the long term when it comes to dripping prevention. Easily noticeable when you have water supply with high mineral particals in your area.
